BUSAC At-Large Councilor

​2020 - present

 

Last year I ran in the March BUSAC election and was elected by the Badgers eligible to vote last year as an At-Large Representative. I have served in this position with excitement and devotion, while being active and engaged in meetings no matter the engagement of others.​

As a BUSAC councilor I had the the opportunity to run for positions on a variety of Brock Committees. I decided that because of the great personal importance that sustainability has to me, and my desire to assist in properly reviewing fees that I would run for both the Finance and Sustainability Committee and the Referenda Quality Assurance Committee. I am highly engaged in RQAC as the chair, we have begun a process of reviewing fees that will set a precedent for the future fee reviewal process and I am excited to see the fruits of our labour.​

As a First Year Representative I had the opportunity to experience the workings of BUSU first hand. I was able to learn about the role of a BUSAC councilor while spending time volunteering for BUSU Advocacy and working with the street team on various efforts!​

As a first year member of the Brock Leaders Citizenship Society I was able to experience exciting volunteer opportunities and help to plan events giving back to the community! After my first year I was elected as secretary and have been serving to improve BLCS and promote positivity throughout members.
